Amongst a wide variety of other "supernatural" creatures, yes. It's not beyond possibility that they existed in yours, too.

Many more than I could ever tell you about. Shapeshifters, banshees, wendigo, berserkers, various spirit-types. Not all of them particularly pleasant.
