i guess you solved that. maybe artists are universal.

I'd be willing to bet there's still only one. Easy enough to make the others programs, copy their works into other matrixes.

with logic like that, we could all be considered a copy of something or someone. I'd like to think we're all individual, or something is unique about us in a certain way. Don't you?

I do. That's why I'm not so sure you can have more than one of a guy like Dali. Or anyone else, for that matter

there's a lot more to the Matrix than we think. maybe mine was just a different strain of yours, or yours a strain of mine. we can't deny that in some way, we're all connected.

We might be coming at the same argument from different angles. That said I don't think the Matrix deserves to get all the credit for it. Its purpose is pretty clear.

not at all, I think we shaped it, too. I mean, we still had free will, or broke into a kind of free will that allowed us to want more. but there's always going to be more out there that we haven't seen.
